I'm A Poet? !
Who would have thought I'd be a poet?
If you had told me then I'd not have known it!
True, I'm not in the company of the great,
but hopefully I've written verse you'll not hate.
Those who work at the 9 to 5
never seem happy to be alive.
Though a poet may be deeply distressed
I often remark they are by ecstasy blessed.
