I'm learning
to slowly unearth
all the hurt
that you caused me

I'm breathing again
It's slow and shallow
but I feel it
I'm no longer hiding
behind the secret

I'm smiling
I know you can't hurt me
It's scary
But people there for me
Care for me
Helping me through it

I'm living
Believing that it
can get better
Finally facing
Embracing
the truth
And whatever
They throw at me now
I know
That together
We'll learn and we'll grow
