I'm Living Truth Poem by Michael P. Johnson

I'm Living Truth

Rating: 5.0

I'm living truth, I'll tell no lie
I've heard The Lord, God's voice
Maybe I'll sleep, but never die
Since Jesus I made my choice

I know, it may sound lies to you
You'll think my mind's unsound
I hope these notes, may change your view
You'll too seek whom I've found

Jesus, The Lord, sin forgiving
Christ, God crucified dead
From death rising, forever living
Through whom I'm being led

By no means difficult, hard to find
Not unlike sheep astray
Wandering lost, drifting blind
I found Salvation Way

Too long in life, I'd borne hell's load
Now I truly can smile
With The Father's Promise bestowed
I'm happy all the while

Wide awake, while the world's sleeping
Like jewels, buried in sand
Hell's wayward traditions keeping
Failing to understand

Christ is The One! the only One
I say, because I know!
Only through Jesus, True Life's won
In Love's Eternal Flow

Pay heed or not, it's up to you
No need baggage to pack
Space is enough, come join the few
Who'll never ever look back.....
