I must have heard it in a song
A melody so sweet
I must have felt it in the breeze
As the golden leaves fell at my feet
I must have seen it in my dreams
And it faded when I woke
I must have smelled it in a rose
And I left it alone to grow
I must have tasted it in the wine
The sweet desire of love
I must have allowed my emotions
to take a hold
and my heart to be sacrificed
But when it was all said and done
Blinded I was for sure
You turned to me and said
I love you darling
