I wish i held you closer
Right from the start
Cause now the pain
Has gone straigh through
My heart
I needed you when times were hard
And when i was feeling sad
But as the pain gets worse
So does my heart
I've picked up the broken piece's
Which had falling from the love
But there are piece's missing
As you tore away my heart
The feelings weakened
As months pass by
But i've carry around this heartache
As the time has gone by
Now i need those piece's back
As i can't love again

My heart has been fixed
As i make a new start
I know i can hold you closer
Which i never did from the start
I hope you hold my heart up high
As it will love you
For which these days will pass
Cause the love you hold
Will always have a start
It just needs you to love it
And promise you will never part
