I was no more than a kitten when I got into boxing
I lacked the strength and effort to give more than I gave
Which caused me to hear scolding voices in my head
Saying I will be sent to a very early grave
But the only thing that did was motivate me further
To keep digging and digging like I never dug before
Till I found something powerful deep inside myself:
'A raging fire that made me let out a roar'
The roar I let out was heard from a distance
sending endless shivers down my opponents spine
Causing him to tremble with fear before me
Before the terrifying new image of my very own design
No longer am I the fighter to be looked down upon
By those I go toe to toe with at anytime in the ring
They will learn I now have the heart of a lion
And will be given no choice but to bow to their king
