I Sail Alone Poem by Menime Soul

I Sail Alone

All night long she talks to me,
Of distant places across the sea.
I hardly know the places there,
With hopeful eyes i can only stare.

No gifts or prizes awaits me there,
It's just her shadow that i care..
My love for her makes me bend my knees,
To reach to her across that sea.

I sail alone on a moonless night,
In words of inks, swiftly i glide,
Following the words that she speaks,
Of distant places across the sea.
