I saw the Angels come to carry you home,
that day you gained your wings to fly
Up to heaven to Gods kingdom
We were not ready to say good-bye

I was scared, but knew it was okay
for when I saw them I felt a sense of peace
I knew it was grandpa come to guide your way,
to your new home where your pain would cease

I don't know why I could never let you know
I guess I just thought some how you knew
While you were here my love for you did grow
Why was I affraid to say I Love You?

Although my heart still breaks
and somedays my tears still flow
In my heart you will always be
and I know the pain will someday go

What I say to to you now is long over due
I thank God daily for a Sted-dad like you
