I See The Stars

i see the stars so bright, so shiney
just see how they sparkle like diamonds

i see the stars so high, so amazing
just see how we reach high for them

i see the stars so comforting, so touching
just see how they guide and protect us

i see the stars

Poet's Notes about The Poem

ive always looked at the stars since i was a little girl, i would watch them out my window at night and sing to them a spanish lulaby, even during thunderstorms i would try and find just that one little star.
no matter WHERE i was or WHAT i was doing i just HAD to to have my stars and i still do even now at this age.
