I Shine In The Dark Poem by Matt Starking

I Shine In The Dark

I shine in the dark,
A solitary flicker in the night,
A beacon of hope, a spark,
Guiding lost souls to the light.

I may be small, but I am bright,
My glow penetrates the gloom,
Through the shadows, my light takes flight,
My radiance pierces the doom.

My brilliance is not to be ignored,
Though I may seem insignificant,
It's in the dark that I am adored,
A symbol of pure resilience.

For in the depths of the unknown,
Where fear and dread reside,
My light can't be overthrown,
I'm a force not easily denied.

So though the night may seem bleak,
And the darkness a daunting place,
Fear not, for I am here to speak,
And to shine light on the unknown space.

I am the light in the dark,
A beacon of hope, a spark.
