I Still Belive Poem by Dhiren Doley

I Still Belive

All the blue colors in the heavens and seas
Turn black
The soft breezes become storms; storms of destruction
Everything seems collapsing and blowing; gone with the storm
In all these odds I still believe
The storms get over; the sun shines again
And the skies become starry

I open my eyes
Slowly while recovering from the fear
Some reaffirmations appear
The wounds of the trees become beautiful beginning
Beautiful with new leaves
The birds of the air stitch their nest again
And chirpings are heard again as if there wasn't devastation
The babies cry again as if no woman was widowed

I rise up with faith firmer
The warmth of breath tells me
There are many more seas to sail
Many more miles to walk
Many more flowers blooming
Many more hearts to win
And many more lips to kiss

The more battles I win
The stronger I grow
In love
In passion
In faith
