I thought we were perfect
I thought we would last the quest
I thought we wouldn't wreck
I thought we were unlike the rest

I thought we wouldn't fall
I thought we wouldn't break
I thought we could handle it all
I thought we could handle this shake

I thought we were stronger than this
I thought we were like that song
I thought we could go the distance
