I've Dreamed Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

I've Dreamed

I have dreamed of a world so beautiful
without any form of hate or injustices
Mankind were not governed by influences
Which corrupted it's natural state of mind
Contaminating the energy that inhabits the body
can we live in harmony? Will we ever be free?
We can be more alive when we have knowledge
instead we choose to be dead and full of ignorance
Acceptance is having confidence in mans flaws
this gives us a certain type of freedom
Where you view the conflicts humanity battles,
it is not our war to fight
but live together in harmony
without error, without prejudice
there's a lot of hype that
would only cover the gloss
judgement lead to those
who are hung upon the cross
energy is eternal
but when we think it die,
it just simply changes form
joy breaths out freshly made innocence
filled with sincerity, truth and virtue
which an unlawful agenda might easily sway
I have dreamed of a world where we know each other
as friends and not foes
perfect in the eyes of creation itself
but when the time comes no one will know
