I want to dream of flying
Soaring high
High up in the skies
High above my sorrows
High above my sufferings
High above my peers
High in the sky
To feel the freedom
And the peace
And the mercy
And the happiness
A weightless life
Of joy
Where I get what I want
And not thrown to the ground
And not made a fool
Not called one
Not felt one
Not seen one
And not seen fear, either
To explore my world
And get what I like
And taste what I like
And smell what I like
And hear what I like
And feel what I like
To be happy
And approach life
In it's easiest and sweetest way
And love where I live
With the people I will live with
People I'll like and appreciate
Good people
Up there in the sky
Oh, let me dream of one please Lord
