I Was At The River Bank Poem by Kolawole Emmanuel

I Was At The River Bank

AWELEWA!

I was at the river bank's
Watching at the beautiful act work's
Of sango olukoso
Striking thunder like fire out break's
When I heard your beautiful voice's
Singing ewe of two lovers bird's

Your voice is sweeter than asaro koko
Smoother than iyan isu
And warmer than aro gari
.
The God's of sango olukoso as lead me to you this evening
Let IFA take the wheel
And do it will tonight
