I Was Moonstruck Poem by Satish Verma

I Was Moonstruck

Inscrutable was diurnal
pain. You were under surveillance
between dream and reality.

Photolysis stops. Are you
alive? The poignant juvenile moon
was unveiled to see the wounds of earth.

You come in limelight.
The lineage is breaking. I don't want
the second hand love to engage gold-digging.
