I Will Rise
I will rise,
because You have called my name,
and You have reached out for my hand,
gave me wings and made me understand,
no more sorrow, no more pain.
my soul is so bright,
when this darkness breaks to light.
You trusted me, when I can even trust myself.
Though others will try to bring me down again,
I will rise and stand,
because I’m in Your hand.
