I wish I could pretend like these last year’s didn’t take place
I wish I didn’t have to experience so much disgrace

I wish I didn’t give you the key to my soul
I wish I didn’t give you so much control

I wish I could stop feeling so much pain
I wish you didn’t drive me insane

I wish I knew how to move on
I wish you didn’t leave me feeling so withdrawn

I wish I could see beyond you and me
I wish I could live without guarantee

I wish our love we never pursued
