I Won'T Be Complaining Poem by Francis Duggan

I Won'T Be Complaining

I won't be complaining things are not so bad
And I'll always be glad for the good times I've had
And i won't be complaining about my lot in life
In my own little world good luck it is rife
Compared to many my life it is not bad at all
Real hardships in life i did not have to recall
So many must try to sleep hungry at night
By the trees in the open in the faint moonlight
Thousands of malnutrition are dying every day
In their destiny they do not have a say
Of life they do not have a good story to tell
And the only hell they fear is their living hell
I have never lived hungry or known real poverty
And life overall has been quite good to me.
