I write
for the sake of writing
not for the sake of being read
that said
feels really great
to find out
my words
have touched
another being

I paint
for the sake of painting
not for the sake of being seen
nonetheless it's been
a truly wonderful thing
to know a painting of mine
has touched
another being

I sing for the sake of singing
not for the sake of being heard
still, feels wonderful
to have learned
a song of mine
has touched
another being

my thanks
and my appreciation
to all who've ever seen
read or heard
any of my creations
and felt
something

and all those
who have not
either seen,
heard, read
or felt
that's ok,
maybe
just not your cup of tea
this little being called me
