If An Animal Spoke To Me Poem by Diane Monte

I was 5 years old when my father started to taking care of sets ofdomesticated animals. I got cats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats, cats, pigsand my one little dog. I used to wake up to clean the yard and feed them before going to school and same routine in the afternoon after my class. BUt only two pets were part of my growing up- rabbit and dog. But as time changes and the situation changes and everything changes because change is a constant thing- my dog become viand because of our neighbor -(i cried and i never tried to take another one again) and same with my rabbit- and then i realized how people behave and treat animals that way... And now i got a new pet after 2 decades- my little fishes on my aquarium, no one will eat them except our cat- hahahaha. but our cat won't eat them for sure..hahahaha..

i am a pet lover before and still loving an animals though i am afraid having a dog anymore...
