If I Said Poem by Paul Warren

If I Said

If I said I love you
Would you turn and walk away
If I said please stay
Would you go anyway

I want to know if you love me
Oh how it eats at me
Each time that you leave
My tears flow so easily

For if you have forsaken me
What will I do now you're gone
I can't see my life without you
What is left is just a sad song.
