If I Shall Love You Poem by Leaking Pen

If I Shall Love You

Rating: 5.0

If I shall love you
Take me to your four corners
Take me to your ceiling
Take me to your floors
Take me to your windows
Take me into your daylights
Framing the smiles of your heart
Where hope of your Sun dwells
Covering all of your blemishes
But most of all take me to your midnights
In the hush stillness of your shades
Where in private you peel your veils one by one
Layer upon layer exposing your hidden core
Where your truth really resides
Among the protected four corners of your heart
Your fears, your doubts, your droughts, your rains
The essence of who you really are
For I love you completely, in every state of your art
I love your every twist and turn, all your ups and downs
Your tears, your smiles, your many frowns
Your roots, your stems, your leaves, your flowers
I love you the moment your light rises in the morning
I love you till your shade subsides
In the bosom of the vast unknown
Far beyond my understanding
If I shall love you
I shall love you completely
And as you rise again
I'll be on the highest mountain peak receiving your first morning kiss
And the moon light serenading your goodnight
If I shall love you my Dear
May God’s witness be my smile, my tear
Of joy, of happiness and yielding content
For If I shall love you
I shall love you completely
