If I Told You, Would You Believe Me? Poem by Riley Choma

If I Told You, Would You Believe Me?

Rating: 5.0

If I told you that you are beautiful in every sense of the word, would you believe me?

Your smile is beautiful.

Your eyes are beautiful.

Your laugh is beautiful.

Your disposition is beautiful.

You are beautiful.

Would you believe me, or would the words of those before me stain your perception?

If I told you that I love you, would you believe me then?

Would we act as though nothing changed?

Would we go our separate ways?

If I told you that I love you, would you tell me the same?

I told you that I love you and now I am left to wonder…

Did it mean a thing, or do you just like the game?
