If I were to fall in love again
would it sing its sad refrain,
would the heartaches begin again?

If I were to fall in love again
would I experience what I did before,
wake up one morning with your suitcase by the door.

If I were to fall in love again
would the black skies move away
bringing forth blue ones for a new day.

If I were to fall in love again
what would happen to me.
Until that day comes along whatever will be will be.
