If It Hadn't Been For You
If it hadn't been for you,
I wouldn't be alive.
If it hadn't been for you,
I would have been nothing, nothing but hopeless being.
If it hadn't been for you,
my life would not have had any joy or excitement.
If it hadn't been for you,
my life would be the saddest thing around.
If it hadn't been for you,
I might not have had a life.
If it hadn't been for you,
I might have never know what love meant
If it hadn't been for you,
I might never know what it meant to be loved.

Weslee, thank you for commenting on my poems. Did you see my reply about limericks? I appreciate your sharing your feelings in this touching poem. We all need a friend who will see us through our dark days. I have found that it helps to write when I am sad or depressed. Putting the feelings on paper helps to clarify them and make them easier to handle. I don't know what emo is. Keep on writing poetry and sharing it!
thank you for the comment. a emo is a person who backs away from people and does not want the comfort of people and often shuts people out
