If Only Poem by Michaela Araskiewicz

If Only

Most people don't see it,
But I can look behind the mask,
His ego is transparent.

Inside he's a family man
Each day he can't wait too see her,
If only he knew,
I wish he felt the same about me,
Because I know,
I know I could give him everything he wanted,
If only he would let me into his heart.

I know it's wrong to wish that,
But I just cant stand to see her walk away from him again,
Leaving him with every question on his mind.
If only you knew how bad I want to trade places with her.
