If Only Poem by Marlene Rashidi

If Only

I could go back to my juvenile years,
Back to my despicable memories,
To the girl I used to be,
The girl with no heart,
Back to my first love,
I would've loved him more than I did,
If only I was a girl with a heart,
My dreams would've came to reality,
If only I was a girl in true love,
I would've cherish those moments,
Sometimes I wonder,
How my life would be different,
If only I learned to love more,
How I would be myself,
And how undifferentiated I would be,
It take If only to realize the old me.
