I remember a year ago, when someone told me to take caution when I came to love.
I didn't listen, and now I feel like my heart is broken,
I feel like our love for each other is impossible.
I feel like we lost it all,
Lost our connection for each other.

I should of listened, when someone told me to take caution when it came to love;
I should of listened.

He would tell me that he loved me,
But I wouldn't listen to what he was saying,
I would only look at how he said it.
I feel like I'm lost, in the world I live in.
