If Someone Wants You Poem by Laura Anne

If Someone Wants You

If someone want you, nothing can keep them away.
If they don't want you, nothing can make them stay.
Stop making excuses for someone else and their behavior.
Allow your intuition to save you from heartache.
Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship, if it’s meant to be it will be.
Never live your life for your partner; find what makes you truly happy.
If a relationship ends because they were not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't 'be friends.' A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend.
Don't settle. If you feel like they are stringing you along, then they probably are.
Don't stay because you think 'it will get better.'
You'll be mad at yourself, a year later for staying when things are not better.
The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
Maintain boundaries in how you’re treated.
If something bothers you, speak up.
You cannot change their behavior. Change comes from within.
Don't EVER make them feel they are more important than you are...even if they have more education or in a better job.
A person will only treat you the way you ALLOW them to treat you.
All people are NOT dogs.
You should not be the one doing all the bending...compromise is a two-way street.
You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals...look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.

In the end you are the one that has to take responsibility for your choices.

Wonderful if not the best advice you can give to women. You will be surprised on how many intelligent and beautiful women are out there, but when it comes to relationships: they turn into sniveling fools (my apologies ladies, if the shoe fits) I love your work! ! ! !
