“IF WE TOLLERATE THIS THEN OUR CHILDREN WILL BE NEXT”

What is a real man? I've thought about it a lot,
And I think I have it sorted out, see if you agree or not,
A real man is responsible, and steadfast there is no doubt,
To family, to country and society, hanging in, never cop out.

A real man has moral fiber, and perseverance is his tool,
He knows what integrity is, for honesty is his rule.
kids raised with family love and values so they can relate,
To this society; which once made Britain Great.

He knows when his kids are born, he owes more than a place to live,
They will have stability, parental love, as only a Mother and Father can give,
A real man makes a solemn vow, to hold his family together,
No matter how stormy marriage gets, he'll hang on for calmer weather.

Children need Mothers and Fathers to be examples so they can relate,
To love between man and woman, when search for a lifelong mate.
It's the deficiency in family values that are causing the problems today,

To keep a campaign promise in these days is very rare,
After candidates are elected they often cease to care,
The mistake we voters make is a very common one,
We cast our votes on promises instead of jobs well done.

If we are hiring an employee to manage personal affairs,
Our priorities for employment would be exercised with care,
We would search for truth and honesty in the annals of their past,
And be cautious about their character before our vote was cast,

We would take the time and trouble to check out their resume,
We would put more faith in what they've done and less in what they say,
But today we choose our role models by their achievements on TV,
And if that is ever going to change it must start with you and me.

We must scrutinize each role model before we cast our vote,
And I don't say this to alarm you, but just as a final note,
If we don't take this business of role modeling seriously, it's more likely than not,
We'll have more Myrmidon children enslaved, like the ones we've got

This is more than a poetry.
This is a message you send us from your sense of responsibility as a Citizen of this Globe
(I consciously don't write Britain here, b'cose it applies to all wherever we live) to make this earth livable. Also as a Poet you show your brilliance.
