If you had lost your parent,
When young you’re in age,
God was your parent all these years,
Who loved, cared and reared you,
In earthly life’s each stage.
If you were lost when just born,
Orphaned in a garbage dump,
God finds a home for you somehow,
And made you grow up plump,
By providence, new hope.
If you had lost your sibling,
Who had been affectionate,
God turns to be brother, sister –
And your unseen playmate,
Cheering you through childhood.
If you had lost your spouse dear,
Who gave you joy to heart,
God turns to be companion,
Until you may depart,
In miraculous, a way.
If you had lost your children –
Most precious wealth of life,
God comes to you in angel form,
To mitigate your strife,
And lessen your grief great.
If you had lost a member,
And life became quite dark,
God gives you wisdom as per needs,
Will-power to make your mark,
And make up every loss!
If you had lost your soul’s health,
Through sinfulness and vice,
God gives you trials, much hardship,
And grace to realize
To keep your heaven’s road!
