You shake my confidence, destroy my faith,
Though I always give and never take,
You build me up then break me down,
I will never know why i'm still around,
There's only so much one person can take,
Before they give up, before they break,
Though i'll never let you see me cry,
You may realise when I cease to try,
If you realised exactly what I know,
You would realise why it's time for me to go,
I can't shake this feeling, no matter what I do,
The resentment and hatred I feel for you,
It was a second chance this time around,
But then you went and let me down,
Once you've destroyed my trust and respect,
You mean nothing, what did you expect?
