If You’re Leaving… Poem by Phillip Robertson

If You’re Leaving…

Have you got everything in your suitcase?
I can see your clothes and your sunglasses
I can see cameras and photos
I can see food and sun tan lotion
I can happiness and hope
I can see joy and determination
I can see fear and envy
I can see jealousy
I can see your panic is neatly packed
It’s just hiding behind the doubt
It’s right there in the corner
Your forgetting one thing though aren’t you?
You can’t leave without it
If you did then you would have to come back and get it
What do you think it is?
Well can’t you guess?
It’s you you’re missing
All your stuff is here but you’re nowhere to be found
So I suggest you find yourself before you go
So start looking
