Illusional Love Poem by Lost Soul

Illusional Love

Rating: 5.0

Ashes fall from the black sky as memories start to burn and fade.
Our hearts turn dark from the shadows of loves shade.
Illusions dragging me into its merciless love game.
Clutching me from the heart, watching it as it bleeds of love.
Manipulating my mind, blinding me into believing whats not real.
(Its the thirst that lies in your eyes that makes me believe what I feel)
The unreal cuts in deeper, drowning the bandaide that covers my soul.
Wont someone save my heart from the emptyness and make it whole.
But as I wait in the cold and suffer of a strong want and need.
The Illusional Love takes one more strike and lets me fall and bleed.
Down on my knees I hear a call once more from up above.
Something in me tells me its no illusion its real love.
But when something so real is gone is when you start realize what you had.

Look into my eyes, tell me it wasnt real.
No longer am I capable of keeping what I feel.

Take my hand tonight my fallen angel lets fly away to our fantasys.
No more do you have to dream. With me you shall wake living your dream.
They say Illusional Love always comes with a heart break.
But any love with you comes with only a heart beat.

Lets not run in circles no more, Lets run into eachothers arms.
Lets not run from one another, Lets walk towards eachother.
Feel what I feel, that hurt in my heart with a burning sting.
Fear no more my love, this is no illusion its just the real thing.
