I'm Just A Friend Poem by Owoeye Taiwo Bisola

I'm Just A Friend

I'm just a friend;
But I can't stop the brouhaha of wings;
Butterflies avaites high and low in my belly,
We tease with love; we settled for friendship,
My heart loves every part of you,
But your heart is crafted for another.

I'm just a friend;
But we light lingering kisses here and there;
My heart thumps at the mention of your name,
We forge love with fire, in the shape of a heart,
My soul longs for you to be mine,
But fate is disgusted with our desires.
