Im not attention seeking.

Stuff anyone who thinks I want attention.
Stuff the twrips who think I'm a nutter.
Only I know the full extent of why and only I alone.
I've had to much crap to deal with.
Life did deal me a rough hand.

Yes I now hurt myself pysicaly but so what.
I'd rather hurt pysicaly than emotionaly.
Im NOT attention seeking.
Think what you must.
Only I know the truth.

You say you love me.
You say your there for me.
But how can you be?
When you just think I want attention.
I know the truth.
So think what the hell you want

Amy we never seek attention no matter what anyone else says. You are so right that only we know the truth. You anger and hurt come through very clear here. But I do agree with Tara that you should let others help you. Have you considered http: //pandys.org? It is an abuse survivors site for us. I also agree with Tahnee too, in that you hold your head up high girl, and just be you. Thank you for sharing. Barbara (Report) Reply

heaps of anger in this poem. go for it girl. let them all know what you think. stay true to yourself and don't change the way you write because people can't understand it. just hold your head up high. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
