In An Imaginary Tomorrow

In an imaginary tomorrow
We dream the same dream
Of dancing grass
And white sheets.

We find proof
Of living happiness.
We hide it deep in memory.

We search for paintings
We have already seen
Forgotten landscapes
Already known by heart.

We touch each other as if by accident.
We love each other afraid to believe
That the imagined future
Is here right behind closed eyelids.
