In Love- The Perspective Of A Teenage Girl Poem by Gabrielle Smith

In Love- The Perspective Of A Teenage Girl

Rating: 4.5

I am sitting, so is he.
I wonder
where he was yesterday?
My name is called.
I do not notice.
I am emersed...
In love.
He turns around.
And grins, at me.
I allow the corners of my mouth.
To turn up in a small smile.
While the insides of my stomach,
Explode.
I keep this secret of mine.
From prying eyes,
Hidden away,
In my heart.
The secret of love.
