Marie ...

(1993 / england)

In memory of mum

another day just like the last
somehow i hold back the tears
i'm in a living nightmare
getting tougher day by day
missing you but not forever

another day just like the last
blood poors out to ease the pain
part of me i have lost
you are tearing my life apart
missing you but not forever

another day just like the last
seven years have gone so fast
thanks for nothing but the pain
you never said sorry in the letter
missing you but not forever

another day just like the last
if you loved me you wouldn't have left
i wouldn't feel the way i do
you are the one that took my life
missing you but not forever

another day just like the last
you messed me up you must know that
as i say my final goodbyes
i eagerly await your answers
missing you but not forever

RIP mum, i'll never forget you.

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
