I’m in trance
I feel the blues

The classic state of novelty
Rocks within us
I want an alternative
And all that jazz

Theory
Composition of reality
Pls. Counterpoint this piece
Transpose it
Arrange it again
Diminish the major
Augment the minor

Melody is the voice
The whole is what we want
Accompaniment
Give the Support
Orchestra
Lift the harmony
Percussion,
Give the rhythm
The chorus sings
The bass plays
The wind toots
The strings strum

Fourth system
Glissando, staccato
Pizzicato
Syncopate it

What did you hear?
What? !
Did you listen?
Listened for what? !

They heard the sound
