In New Beauty Looms Poem by Duy Bui

In New Beauty Looms

Subsisted once, seemed a pariah.
Accepting all, Intrepidity,
A firm visage, Equanimity
The fractious beasts, with him ambling

Old earth under, embarked aloft sky
Otiose life, then vaulted a love
Curious sighed, and cleaved heart marched on
Patient boscage, hurried intimate

He sequestered, without heed outside
Insular lodge, perpetuity
None but nature, faithful vigilance
All was ambushed, in new beauty looms
