In The End Poem by Heather Rhoden

In The End

Rating: 5.0

In the end,
She cries out
For help from him,
For him to stop
All the pain,
To stop the teasing
Of the blade.
The blood that will
Quiet all her screams,
That will rob her
Of all her dreams.

In the end,
She draws the blade
Lightly across her skin.
She stains the blade,
But the pain disappears,
Leaving her alone
With just her fears.

In the end,
She is surrounded by darkness.
In a world she barely exists
Just before sinking
Into the great abyss.
