In The Rain - Poem by Sabrina McIntyre

Standing in the rain
I get rid of pain
A shiver runs up my spine
And suddenly I actually feel fine
I feel like dancing
I feel like singing
I'd probably look crazy
Especially to my neighbor K.C.
But then I realize
To my surprise
I don't really care what others may think
I'm finally on the brink
Of just being me
I feel pretty wearing a tee
And a pair of jeans
Just like an actress on movie screens
There's a confidence about me now
And you ask me how
Just lose all doubt
Then you too can break out
