! In The Spirit Of Rumi - 62 - Religion

Rating: 3.5

The witness said
this is what I saw

no other witnesses were present at the time,
none of the jury were there of course,
the judge was not there

some of the jury said
if he says so I believe him,
some of the jury said
how do I know that's the truth

they listened,
his eyes shone;
their hearts listened,
their eyes shone;

yes they said,
that's true
