In These Last Days Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

In These Last Days

Rating: 5.0

In these last days
Knowledge grows by leaps and bounds;
Science and technology are amazing,
The invention of robots and gadgets abounds.

In these last days
Man is occupied by earthly endeavors;
The world's end will come like a thief,
Signs say judgment day is at the doors.

In these last days
Love for God is getting cold;
Not a few live in sinful pleasures
Instead of searching for the fold.

In these last days
Man's life is in great peril;
Danger awaits him everywhere,
No place for one to live safe and well.

But there's a ray of hope for mankind,
Giving them the chance to know God's ways;
The angel from the ends of the earth
Is heaven-sent in these last days.
