In Time Of Sorrow Poem by Patrick Utitufon

In Time Of Sorrow

In time of sorrow
When there is dim hope for tomorrow
When you are down and distressed
for what you should be praised
When your heart is weary of thought
In want of comfort
When you are in pain
And you think your effort is in vain
That makes you weak and paralyzed
And your spirit's bane is capitalized
for a course you know not, if you find yourself in trouble
And you shiver, trip and stumble
And they that you trust flee
Who in good times shared your plenty
For you, these lines, I write
That you may be guided aright
Believe me, your case is not final
Many have triumphed worse trial
Let not the feeling of premonition
Overwhelm your life's ambition
Remember your situation could be a puff
Just to test the stuff you're made of
Though the road may be rough
And the times deriding and tough
But if you persevere through every persecution
Till the end of your tribulation
And if you never give up,
a crown awaits you at the top.
