In Touch Poem by somebody else

I have tried my best, to get in touch,
because your presense, I've missed much.
But the closer I get, the further you run,
and it is confusing, for what have I done.
I give you breath, and your heart beat,
water to drink, and food to eat.
Though you left, I have never stopped caring,
and my love for you, I am ever declaring.
It was never I, that pushed you away,
for always by your side, I wanted to stay.
But places you went, where go I could not,
and to change your mind, I really tried alot.
For your safety is, of the greatest concern,
and now I wait for the comfort, of your return.
