Inaction Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Inaction

We act or react
And compete
For praise
Of actions
For everyone
Feels honoured
And pleased
When praised

Inaction is naught
Nothingness
And zero
Where we have
No one to praise
Or to be praised
As there being
No theft
In absence of
Precious gems
And in vacuum
Of desires
Exists tranquility
Serenity and
Peace of mind
Itself the Divine

The filled belly
Emptied mind
Weaken desires
And strengthen
Our body
As a whole
For a sound body
Carries a sound
Mind and soul

As to know little
About wasteful
Deemed to be
Graceful
And no action
Called as meditation
Divine state of mind

It doesn't desert
If return
Isn't sought
Then contentment
Blooms into
Flowers of
Blissfulness.
