I am rising like a phoenix
From the salty waters
Of a night sky
As all around me
Civilization burns
Crackling and searing
Red flames leaping for the heavens
And I thrash around
Moving 1000 frames a second
As diamond drops of water escape my body
I go down into the black depths and
Breathe in hard
And come back up gasping
For air when the orange red hits me
Yet again
Scorching the tips of my fingers
The heat leaving me parched
and I sink back in
I fall, I fly,
I freeze, I burn
This must be the end of everything
